SELECT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

 

·   Identified a communication issue between Iraqi Army and Kurdish Peshmerga Intelligence liaisons assigned in Mosul, Iraq.  The cultural differences broke communication between the two preventing vital intelligence sharing.  Acting as a liaison and rapport builder, a working relationship was established resulting in more reliable and time effective intelligence sharing.

·   Assigned as the supervisor for the enrollments and PCASS teams on Kandahar Airfield for a 2013 multi-agency foreign intelligence operation across Afghanistan.  Tasks included assigning roles and tasks, direct supervision of operations, liaising with partner forces, participate in pre and post operation briefing and after action review, ensuring complete and accurate biometrics enrollments, and review, edit and submit PCASS charts and reports.

·   1 of 2 soldiers assigned to build and conduct a brigade led mission to train a class of 50 Iraqi Army and Police officers.  The junior and field grade officers were identified as lacking proper knowledge and skill on how to effectively conduct and lead intelligence operations within the Niniveh Province area of operation.

·   While assigned as the lead interrogator of high value detainees, my interrogations produced dozens of intelligence reports and a two-week, multi-unit mission escorting a detainee turned source, which resulted in the discovery of dozens of IEDs and weapons cache.  Excelled in rapport building and transitioning through approaches.

Serve as the team lead for the primary Counterintelligence Field Team assigned to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.  The team, made up of 4-5 counterintelligence screeners, 1 intelligence analyst and 6 linguists was tasked with conducting thorough background interviews and investigations on local nationals and third country nationals on NATO installations throughout Kandahar.  Duties include conducting analysis/research on all countries represented in the work force in Afghanistan with the majority being Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Monitoring and enrollment of foreign nationals into BATS/HIIDE, conducting PCASS and Cyberhawk/CELLEBRITE.  Attending/conducting daily intelligence, and force protection briefs and liaising with other intelligence entities. Scheduling interviews and produce, edit and submit reports.  Other tasks performed included vetting for intelligence source leads, training newly arrived CI professionals and conduct surveillance/counter surveillance operations. The team efforts are credited with minimizing insider threats, preventing green on blue attacks and investigating complaints related to criminal and terrorism activity.

Serve as primary screener of local nationals and third country nationals.  Duties include conducting thorough CI and force protection interviews for personnel employed on NATO bases in Helmand Province.  Monitoring and enrollment of foreign nationals into BATS/HIIDE, conducting PCASS and Cyberhawk/CELLEBRITE.  Daily analysis of intelligence/open source, company employment records, personnel records, classified databases, and daily briefings used to identify possible counterintelligence threats and breaches of security. Primary military point of contact for all non-military counterintelligence activity in the area of operation.

 

 

Human Intelligence Collector

Serve as an intelligence collector and designated instructor while stationed at Fort Stewart, GA.  Assigned to leadership roles during two deployments to Iraq using a wide array of tools and intelligence disciplines while conducting interrogations and source operations directly supporting the Division commander’s Priority Intelligence Requirements.

 

Deployed to Baghdad in 2007 to 2008 conducting HVT interrogations, military source operations and collection manager to fill intelligence gaps in remote areas.  Duties include liaising between Iraqi Army and US Military commanders, planning and conducting interrogations, tactical questioning, reports editing, friendly forces debriefing, combat operations, intelligence instructor, mission debriefings and intelligence consulting for US and foreign soldiers.  This position includes 8 months of intelligence analysis experience.

 

Deployed to Mosul 2009 to 2010.  Assigned as a handler of clandestine recruited sources on a HUMINT collection team tasked with counterinsurgency operations.  Duties include conducting military source operations, HUMINT collection manager, covert technical surveillance, intelligence contingency funds manager, intelligence instructor, combat operations, and foreign military intelligence liaison.  This position includes 12 months of intelligence analysis experience.
